Pros
- decent compensation and benefits - there are still some brilliant people around - right target and timing for growth
Cons
- increasing tendency to quiet quitting and quiet firing (people who barely pretend to work to prevent being fired, and people who are just kept entertained on the sidelines to make them quit). - terrible communication from the leadership, just showing up for a monthly meeting of overhyped optimism, and a by-weekly e-mail of one or two pages without a concrete real message. - leadership seems to be taking every opportunity they have to quietly remove perks and benefits, just deleting them from the employee guidelines during summer vacations or the first weeks of january, like expecting no one will notice. - brain drain seems to be getting out of hands (no wonder why). - product strategy changes at least once a year, and a lot of work goes to waste when something has to be dropped to pursue just one more headline. - morale hit an all time low during H1 2023, it wasn't uncommon to hear people talking about all their doubts on the prospects of success for the company and the product.
