Pros
- Big mission - Big market - Great, supportive board of directors - Fantastic team that has been entirely assembled during COVID. The way in which folks support each other is pretty inspiring, and the amount the team has accomplished is impressive - Huge opportunity to change healthcare - Customer traction that is virtually unheard of for a company at this stage - Lots of learning and growth opportunity - Lots of focus on building scalable solutions - Lots of opportunity to be better, but intentional focus around diversity
Cons
- Big expectations and customer traction in a highly regulated area brings a lot of urgency to make sure we deliver. Lots to do and folks feel that. - While the company and the people are conditioned to helping, the remote environment lends itself to self starters who can navigate ambiguity and comfortably collaborate using modern tools (Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, etc) across all roles - Always big challenges to balance going after big opportunities relative to staying focused. When we make mistakes, it is usually b/c we try to do too many things.
