Pros
The product they are selling is amazing! Bunch of people are nice and will treat you with respect. The work will need actual brainstorming, which will improve one's skill.
Cons
All these pros comes at a cost of your mental health. I have explicitly heard stuff from my direct leaders like, "I am disappointed in you", "I don't think you will be able to code this so copy paste it from other code", and, "You don't take this job seriously" If you ask them that it would be good to not say such sentences and that it is not acting as a support. They will say "I am being hard for a reason". Bottom line: you are always wrong. If you are in the lowest ladder of the rug in your team there is not much growth opportunity. Your immediate lead will love to dominate over you and say sentences that might actually break a human's confidence. And tell the directors that their job was not done because you weren't much of a help, the directors will just blindly believe it. Playing victim, pointing fingers and being in the favourite list is the way to the top in this organisation.
