Pros
-Stable job (Covid/recession proof) -Some good colleagues -Despite it being a production environment it was never overly stressful -Some possibility for travelling to other sites (Germany, China, USA) covered by the company -Cross training is possible if time permits, opportunity to -Some of the development roles seem good compared with production roles -Reasonable work life balance
Cons
-People stay in the same positions for 10-15 years - can be a Pro if you are happy in your position for example but generally this manifests as no room/scope for promotion -Atmosphere can be bad given so many people have been there so long not enjoying it -bad pay (when I was there circa 2015-2019) -I left for other job offers and it has proved to be the right choice
