Pros

A lot of jobs start you entry level I think why this one got me excited personally was me being able to pass some of the other people up in the office because of the no seniority that they talked about in the interview process

Cons

The con would be you have to sacrifice more initially if you want to grow at a faster rate which to me isn’t a con I have big goals for myself, but for others it might stand out

Pros

I've worked with Cohesion for a long time now and in the beginning it was hard. I didn't have a whole lot of experience but I did have my degree. The first thing my soon to be boss said was 'you have a piece of paper, okay, what else?' and that was terrifying. What I didn't understand at the time was that having an education proved to him that I could be a good student and my lack of experience was taken in grace. I came to understand the development process and I was able to be promoted three times thanks to my hard work and sacrifice. I also now have marketable skills. I now have a ton of things that make me marketable and I'm so excited to continue growing with this company. Recently my boss began calling me a business partner and that is just way too cool. I guess all in all what I'm trying to say is that growth is what you make of it. Some people aren't willing to put the work in. Some people are. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is ready for a career and ready for the next step in their life.

Cons

You'r treated like someone who should already know how to be proactive. Someone who can take responsibility. Someone who isn't still trying to figure it out-from a commitment standpoint. It's basically a big kid job, not a 'this will get me from point A to point B' job. You're accountable for everything you do right and everything you do wrong and while failing is encouraged because it leads to growth, little mistakes that first time job holders make like being late or not having your clothes ironed or making excuses for this and that just aren't tolerated especially when you get into a leadership role. You're expected to be an example to others and you're required to put your teams needs before your own. In a way that's a good thing but in another way not everyone is ready for that kind of a commitment.
