The culture has much to be desired. The Austin office has a culture of itself that has a reputation within the firm for being 'unconventional'. The management does not make strategic decisions and exhibits favoritism like I've never seen before. The environment is extremely competitive, where your experience is not valued. Everybody is on an equal playing field when it comes to being given responsibilities, no matter the experience level. Dishonest behavior is unpunished. I've seen senior managers yell at and berate staff in the open work space. These factors create, in my opinion, a toxic environment which is demonstrated by it's high turnover, especially amongst women and minorities.
