Pros
Met a lot of genuinely good people.
Cons
The People Team is at it again, trying to boost the scores. Believe the constructive reviews on here - they're accurate. It really is that bad. I worked in a central role at Collibra for several years, and I've never experienced a company this toxic. You have leaders who are completely unqualified for their roles and make it up as they go. Middle managers hide behind process, send you running in circles, and create busywork to justify their positions. Benefits disappear as quickly as employees do. The whole thing is a complete circus. It's the blind leading the blind, yet everyone acts like everything is great. Because if you dare speak up, you'll quickly find yourself being targeted. I've seen this happen firsthand many times. The culture? Aside from the blame game, it’s nonexistent. Morale? It’s dead. If you're not part of one of the inner circles, you'll end up doing all the heavy lifting while others protect each other and hold onto their comfortable positions. The People/HR team is one of the largest functions in the company, yet everything under their umbrella is very disorganized and highly ineffective. From recruitment to employee relations. DEI initiatives is nowhere to be seen despite having people in the function. Twice a year performance review which does nothing in terms of your merits and career pathing. Twice a year EVS which does nothing - apart from employees being grilled by their managers for any low ratings they gave in what is supposed to be an “anonymous” survey. The CEO? I won't even get started. If you're reading this and thinking about applying, look elsewhere. If you're a current employee reading this, you're probably nodding along.
