Pros
The Pay and benefits are very good and Florida still has one of the best remaining retirement systems. The co-workers at the S.O. are awesome and there are many areas to work such as CID, K9, Traffic, Etc.
Cons
Politics surrounding a Sheriff's Office can be disheartening. Recently there has been a lowering of the moral standards and hiring standards.
