Far too much upper management. Too much meaningless trickle down. Lie about status consistently for budgets and projects. Training is absolutely terrible for new engineers, especially one directly out of school. Try to promote far too quickly and really never gain useful skills. Too much specialization. Make promises that do not come true (training, travel, compensation). Noone really cares about one another. All about "what are you are going to do for me today".
