Pros
New staff orientation is well thought out and creates a sense of familiarity with the in-office staff. Additionally, the orientation programming fosters an in-depth understanding of the company and the parking industry as a whole. So far, everyone has been welcoming and helpful. There is also something to be said about the office's prime location in the heart of Georgetown. Perks like free parking at the designated office location and an onsite gym also should not be understated. There is also a feeling that the company is working toward creating a positive work culture, and their willingness to offer hybrid work options when appropriate is a relief as the world shifts to flexibility when it comes to working from home.
Cons
Since it's an almost 75-year-old company there can be clashes with some of the old-school ways of running such a large operation. But, with a refreshed and eager executive team, there is progress towards a happy medium that can satisfy the original vision of the company by also accommodating the modern employee.
