Pros
Work from home, for now... Work not going anywhere. Might be recession proof? Probably not though. Learning and experience to be had.
Cons
Experienced engineers paid 30% less than peers in the industry. Why? Because they can. Management is a revolving door, less and less experience. Engineering is a revolving door, less and less experience. Good people leave because the PAY SUCKS. Nothing will change until Illinois has rolling brownouts.
