This organization has a great culture and environment. They truly want you to grow as a person and a professional. They’re supportive and really care their team.

Pros

Mission-driven and positive community impact.

Cons

Inexperienced management with no checks & balances and no human resources (third party HR is terrible). Micromanagers that don't empower employees, hence the high turnover. Benefits are below average for a non-profit that doesn't pay well (they don't match your 401k for the first year and are very out of touch with industry standards. PTO is terrible, you work "free overtime", but if you take even an extra hour off for an appointment, they make you take PTO. CEO is always late to everything and is unreliable. Work from home policies are not flexible (because of micromanagement style). Pay grade and raises are below industry standards for a non-profit that actually makes money. Certain management doesn't appreciate constructive feedback.
