Pros

Some great coworkers (though most have left or been pushed out). The experience will teach you what not to do in business when you acquire a company

Cons

Leadership, particularly Kyle Hanson, has no real vision or respect for employees. I would compare Mr.Burns from the Simpsons but even Mr.Burns has some kind of business sense. The company went from a Fortune 500 powerhouse to near ruin in under two years—poor decision-making at every level. Zero job security—loyal, hard-working employees are discarded without a second thought. Constant chaos, mismanagement, and a culture of fear instead of motivation. No innovation, no long-term planning—just a slow, painful decline. Kyle you have single handedly destroyed TitleMax and ruined the lives of your employees, Congrats!

Pros

Working as a General Manager at TitleMax under Community Choice Financial has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The company truly gives managers the opportunity to lead their own store, build a strong team, and make a real impact in the community. What I love most about this role is the balance of leadership, customer service, and sales. Every day brings something different. I enjoy mentoring my team, helping them grow professionally, and celebrating their successes. Community Choice Financial provides the tools, training, and support needed to succeed, and they trust their General Managers to run their stores effectively. Another great aspect of the job is the culture. The company promotes a team-oriented environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. When you put in the effort and focus on helping customers while supporting your team, the opportunities for advancement and personal growth are definitely there. The fast-paced nature of the job keeps things exciting. I enjoy working toward goals, motivating my team to perform at their best, and creating a positive experience for our customers. Helping people find financial solutions when they need them most makes the work feel meaningful. Overall, I truly enjoy working for Community Choice Financial and being a part of the TitleMax team. It’s a company that values strong leadership, rewards dedication, and provides a great environment for people who enjoy helping others while growing their careers.

Cons

No cons about this employer. Great place to work.
