Pros

Only a select few people who I work with currently in my program, that is the only positive. Pay and benefits offered at CHR are industry average. Insurance (medical and dental) offered through CHR are just average, not the best but not the worst either.

Cons

Narcissistic and stuck up human resources “professionals” in this agency are absolutely awful!!!! All they do is make the employees work much more difficult than it needs to be!!! Many of their human resources policies do not make any sense or practical either. And human resources “professionals” do not preserve confidentiality of employee concerns in this agency! Not one bit!!! Nor do they ever represent the employees best interests at least some of the time! Instead all the human resource area of this agency does is represent only management in every single situation instead of remaining fair and neutral which is what REAL HUMAN RESOURCES “PROFESSIONALS” ARE ALWAYS SUPPOSE TO DO IN EVERY SITUATION!! Definitely not the case at CHR though… Not one single time has human resource ever remained fair or impartial here!! And this is the main reason for my 1 star rating of CHR. Minus the human resource area of this agency, maybe might I might at least give a 3. But the human resources area makes this agency terrible to work for!!! Other negatives about this agency would be some of the upper executive administration who also aren’t friendly or engaging. Some of them are clearly intimidated by people who have bubbly and outgoing personalities and don’t act as fake and mechanical as they all do!!!! These are all the reasons why CHR is an awful place to work right now!!!! It’s not even the pay and the benefits which makes CHR a bad place to work . Pay and benefits offered here are average, despite some of the financial constraints which social services can sometime experience. Instead it’s an awful place to work because of some of the upper executive administration and “human” resources people who act extremely fake and narcissistic and full of themselves!!! Several of them clearly do not care about some of the struggles which their employees experience at work. Instead they only care about trying to fulfill their own personal career agendas!!!!
