At CompassX, we are continuously working to improve our employee experience. We have a well-defined career model and transparent annual review process. We have clearly documented expectations at every level and multiple career path opportunities for our team members including practice leadership, account leadership, community development and sales-focused roles. Unlike many of the big firms, we do not have defined sales targets for Senior Managers, affording them more time to focus on delivery, client relationships, and participating in community activities. We have a strong and effective mentorship program. At CompassX, career opportunities are customized to you as an individual and are almost limitless.
We try to match our team members with the best projects so that they will enjoy their work and build long lasting relationships. Since our consultants tend to take on key project leadership roles, most clients prefer to meet the person that will be running their project (i.e., conduct a Client Interview/”CI”). Therefore, we do our best to familiarize our consultants with the role, client’s culture, and expectations. Our team members appreciate the ability to get to know the client before making a commitment.
Finally, in 2022 we continued to improve our benefits package to include a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, additional PTO and holidays, and one of the best health insurance coverages in the state of California for both employees and their families. These changes were directly derived from employee feedback and ranking of the benefits they wanted to see improved.
