Pros

Challenging work. Decent benefits. Strong leadership.

Cons

Blame culture. Virtual training is ineffective and management doesn't have clear path for growth and development for employees. Gossip and judgement for any knowledge gaps leading to worse communication.

We thank you for your honest feedback! We take pride in our core values of quality, commitment, and RAOWIT (random acts of whatever it takes). We try our best to always celebrate individual wins by promoting our RAWOIT awards, and our monthly “First Class Passengers”. We know that our employees are what makes CRT great, and we are always open to suggestions and looking for more ways to celebrate the individual. We appreciate your suggestion of creating goals for employees and as a leadership team we encourage and promote this process through our performance review and supervisor/ employee check-in processes. We acknowledge that we can never focus too much on appreciating our employees and partnering with them on their career journey’s. We have lots of exciting career exposure and development improvement initiatives already in motion like our “Machine Experience” program, the expansion of our “CRT Leadership University” and the launching of a new cohort of our Mechanical Engineering Technology Associates Degree in partnership with Lorain Community College.

Pros

The work we do is very important, therefore it is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. It takes a high level of technical intricacy to develop our repairs, and we are proud of that.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Meaningful work, skilled coworkers, solid benefits, and a strong technical environment with long-term career opportunity.

Cons

Demanding work, production pressure at times, and like any long-standing company there are changes and challenges to work through.
