Pros
Flexibility was nice since I was a mom.
Cons
Toxic work environment, no support, discrimination, 8 roles for 1 person…the list goes on and on. If I ever had a suggestion or question, I was met with “if we want your unsolicited advice, we will ask for it”. I was talked down to, spoke about to others in degrading ways. She took screenshots of me and my children to send to other coworkers. She is head mean girl and if you have the chance to RUN, do it. Your mental health will deteriorate here. The way she speaks to people who run her company for her is inexcusable. There is a reason every director was ran off over the past year. Follow the signs, they all lead to her. This business is unethical and it no longer felt good to work for people like this. There is no support and the “support” in place is completely unavailable at all times. There could be work emergencies and you will be left to figure it out on your own. We have been asked to change coding for locations on billable soap notes and when I spoke up about that being insurance fraud, I was retaliated against. They demanded me to apologize or resign. If you choose to work here, you’re risking your mental health. There is a huge gap in communication. And you will be representing the kind of people explained above. This field is already mentally and emotionally exhausting at times. Work for a company that lifts you up and supports you.
