Good People, Little to No Benefits - Project Manager Concept Services Employee Review

No micromanagement. Freedom to make own decisions on clients/project that directly affect my financial outcome. Relaxed office atmosphere.

Not a place for someone who is looking to be told exactly what to do everyday. Have to be a self starter which isn't the perfect fit for everyone.

This is a great company to start your project management career with. I love how everyone is so open and if I genuinely don't know a computer skill, the team is happy to help, which in turn makes us all better and more competent as a team. I also appreciate the work life balance Concept has to offer. Without work life balance, I would not be able to enjoy this job.

It seems to start off pretty slow for everyone since there isn't a set training program, but that can maybe be resolved by having newer people start with the groups that do more volume since there's more to do. It may even be a good idea to start the newer people off with a group like the Dairy Queen group cranking out a lot of single PO's or even cranking out the PO's for projects that got the green light. Once you learn how to submit PO's and utilize smart sheets, it all starts to flow.
