Cons

I was offered a full time permanent position, I worked here for 2 and half weeks, and was pulled into the office by HR & Director only to be told that the woman I was taking over had retracted her resignation so there was no longer a job for me, and they offered to pay me a weeks notice. When I receive my payslip a few weeks later, they had not paid me for the extra weeks notice they had promised me - I emailed them to ask for this to be amended, which they did and apologised for the inconvenience. Payday comes and I’m still not paid the correct amount, I email again to ask them to correct this and send me what I am owed, again they did this and apologised for the inconvenience. Although this was frustrating, this isn’t the worst part about Conexus - it’s actually the working environment. They are a few women in the office who like to say things under there breath about you but yet loud enough that you can hear them. The office is filled with inappropriate conversations, all infront of HR (which HR just say ‘I’m not here’). There was another young girl who started not long before me in the HR department, who had basically been bullied out as she got spoken down to and micro managed whilst still in her training. There is no privacy at Conexus, whether you are based in the office or out in the field, if you ring in sick or have any personal issues this will be discussed in an open office by HR and other office staff. Whilst I understand that offices gossip, I have never worked in a place as toxic as that. So if you want a job where you can get your head down, no drama and to be private, Conexus is not for you.
