Pros
I've never been a part of a company that is as flexible and accommodative as Confluent. No BS red-tapism - they actually don't care where you work from and how you work as long as the work is done. With great freedom comes its set of responsibilities, in the form of challenging and interesting work. Overall, a positive experience.
Cons
Like every other startup company that experiences rapid growth, a constant challenging is scaling fast and effectively, but this, strictly speaking, is a challenge and not exactly a con. The transition from a hyper growth startup to a mature organization has its own set of challenges. More emphasis on onboarding / training needs to be there.
