Pros

Fantastic company to work for. As a Profit Center Manager for CED you are given an incredible amount of freedom to run your own business. The core values of the company are also solid and upper management feels very upstanding and moral. Opportunities for growth are available for anyone who is willing to work hard whether that is in management or sales. There are tons of industry veterans with knowledge in abundance and most are willing to share. CED is an outstanding place for anyone who is a self-starter and motivated to keep growing and learning.

Cons

More of a commentary than a con - the management training program can be daunting as it is generally 2-3 years long. As a new trainee this felt overwhelming but looking back as a manager it is incredible how short that period is considering the responsibility placed in your hands at the end. If you can stick it out and absorb as much as you can in that time, the opportunities are vast.

Pros

Very nice coworkers and you get to travel a good amount in your first year. Guided training process wasn’t bad

Cons

Low pay and long hours. The contract they’ll have you sign in misleading on salary. You’re basically going to be a hourly employee your first 2/3 years and more likely than not are not going to be making the amount on the contract unless you do a lot of overtime. There is a lot of corporate pressure on being able to move wherever they tell you to also. My best advice is to look at what your local managers lives are like and consider if they’re happy or not. You have to have a certain amount of being a loner in you to be ok with their outlandish moving expectations.
