Pros
It is a great place to work. Apart from working you will have time to learn which is very good. Colleagues are usually very nice and helpful. It is relatively easy to move from one department to another. Managers are approachable (it does not mean that they will always listen but okay). Ig Metall Conditions in South Germany.
Cons
From what I saw, HR provides some times the wrong information which can lead to serious problems. And it takes forever to get something done from this department. It seems they have a lot of power, apparently more than your direct managers which makes no sense at the end of the day. Conti has a serious problem with HR that should be fixed. If they give them so much responsability, the quality of the work should relate to it. Apart from that it is really difficult to go up in the ladder. Best tip ever: negotiate well your salary when entering. Later on wont be possible.
