Pros
I’m truthfully not sure there are any; I guess you can say its ok if you just need a job to collect a check. However you can forget about EVER seeing a raise, as cost of living increases don't even exist at this company.
Cons
The owner. He is the everything of the company. Don’t be fooled into thinking you will have layers of management to shield you from him either, he is the head of every “department”, if you can even say this company has departments. The term “micromanager” doesn’t even begin to describe him. Retail costs of products are kept cheap because the employees absorb the raising costs of business. Benefits deteriorate as each year passes, combined with NO cost of living adjustments, which is officially stated in the employee handbook; that wages are not adjusted for cost of living. Additionally, several employees have voiced concerns about promised bonuses/pay that never comes, and the owner will never put anything in writing to be held accountable. So its because of this that this company has an employee turnover rate that would make your head spin. In a few years time this company has had over 60 (yes sixty+ plus) employees quit; but this does not raise the concerns of 'this particular person*' in the least, as his approach is ‘everyone is replaceable’. I can assure you that no one would who has worked at this company would rate it over 2 stars, if you see anything above that take it with a grain of salt, and if you see a positive review, theres a strong chance the owner has found this website and made the review himself, he is very savvy to online reviews. I wish I knew about Glassdoor before working at Contour.
