Severe lack of direction with UX and product improvements. There is a lot of arguing over which area deserves more attention, and we're so short - staffed after laying off half the workforce just to stay afloat, that most departments are 1-2 people. This causes everyone to have to work more with no incentive. Bringing up ideas to improve processes is a bad idea. Management doesn't want to hear your ideas, they just expect you to do exactly what you are told, and recognition for hard work is rarely given. Management continues to find any excuse to reject opportunities for promotion and growth. I've seen employees propose well thought-out ideas and get completely shut down with little reason, across multiple departments and managers.
