Pros
I like the idea of working my own schedule and being able to knock off early if needed (ex. dr appts). Pay is good except for being inconsistent. Fellow technicians are great guys. If you don't mind working in the weather elements, it's a good job.
Cons
At the local office I work at, Management above supervisors is not the best overall. The supervisors for the most part are willing to help the best they can. I've been there over 2 yrs and have never been able to take a vacation. Getting help on your route is pretty much impossible so, there's no point in trying to take off. Goals for President's Club is almost impossible to reach without killing yourself above your normal job. Chances are if you have an "out route" you're not going to get home until 8-9 PM. Fortunately, with the route I have, that isn't the case. Bad accounts are almost impossible to get cancelled. If you turn them in to cancel due to high balance, a lot of times, they'll make you still do the service cause they were told by the customer that'd catch it up, when you know good and well they won't.
