Pros
- The company has opportunities for career advancement, especially in my area. - Tries to keep morale up. - Changing, hopefully for the better.
Cons
- People. While we have competent ones, there is little choice in employees and it shows. There are many, who are being told off by their immediate bosses in my shift for not treating incompetent trainees like they are made of glass. Also, the smaller the branch, the more infighting happens. - Compared to the stress (direct labor is understaffed and the current changes happening both at the management level and to the building) and the feeling of insecurity (at the start of the pandemic around 300 or 400 employees were let go, even competent ones), many feel underpaid. - Infightings as in general. While I experienced my share on the lower levels of employment, this happens even at management levels, which results in more expectations and treating employees like machines.
