It's a job, so income is steady but not enough.

I worked for Copart Orlando for years as a title Clerk. They did not care about their employees. They initiated a "no talk policy" because the volume of titles that were being received could not be handled in the time allotted for a full work day with the staff that they had. They made you work from 7-7 Monday through Saturday and possibly Sunday if the titles were complete. People with small children were written up for having to leave and pick their child up from school or even leaving because of exhaustion, college and wanting to spend time with their families. The manager is very selfish and only thinks about herself. The managers under her are her puppets. None of the managers have children so they don't understand the importance of family so they treat the employees that have children and families as if they don't. HR came out to the facility to visit and NOTHING was done. So many employees have complained about this treatment and nothing is EVER done!!! The employees are still made to work extremely long hours, still not allowed to talk and are still on mandatory overtime. So many employees have left including myself because of how they treat and talk to people. They do not believe in promoting within and there is NO room for growth!! The pay is horrible, imagine working at a job for years and only getting raises in increments of 20 cents. RIDICULOUS. Please do not do it!!

Pros

Work from home. Things are constantly changing. Positions open up but manager has to approve you and put your name out there.

Cons

My manager was very unhelpful when my position as a team lead was eliminated. I've been here 5 years plus before COVID and I'm back to square one. I feel there should have been a back up plan for us. They want you now to do the work that a lead does but for absolutely no more money.
