Pros

Diverse group of people with a passion for their work. Well paid. Social committee and training opportunities.

Cons

Ineffective and badly behaved executive managers. Poor corporate structure where HR reports to the State and Category Manager which makes it difficult to hold those managers accountable for incompetence and bad behaviour (and there is plenty of it going on). No transparency of process, no training for senior managers, happy to spend money as if it were their own. Huge disconnect between head office staff and the farms and a total lack of interest to address the gaps and make things better.

Zero job security Constant, recurring layoffs Leadership lacks accountability and empathy Fear-driven work environment No loyalty to employees, regardless of tenure or performance This is one of the most unstable and stressful places you could choose to work. Layoffs are not occasional; they are routine. Every year, multiple rounds happen depending on quarterly numbers, and no one is safe. It does not matter if you’ve been here for years; if you’re a high performer, a manager, or even recently promoted, you can be let go without warning. There is no sense of security, no trust in leadership, and absolutely no long-term vision for employees. People come to work every day, wondering if it will be their last. That level of uncertainty takes a serious toll on morale, productivity, and mental well-being. What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of care for employees. The company treats people as disposable resources, cutting them loose the moment numbers don’t look good. Loyalty is not recognized or rewarded; it’s ignored. If you are looking for stability, growth, or even basic respect as an employee, this is not the place. Be prepared to always have one foot out the door.
