Pros
I have been with this company for a while now. I left big corporate America, tired of all the cut throat political craziness and took a chance on a "mom and pop" shop. I'm very glad I did. I realized that the glitzy jobs come with tons of stress and only realized that when I lost it working for this company. My boss is very understanding of that fact that I have a terrible commute. I am allowed to remote in from the house when I have a family issue, or other situation. They are very very flexible. 5 stars for environment. 5 stars for work-life balance. Salary is within industry standards. Owners treat you like one of the family most of the time. very refreshing.
Cons
The company is very tolerant of peoples different personalities; however, I think they are too lenient sometimes. There are a couple people that are clearly dead weight and either need to be rehabilitated, or removed. The health benefits could really use some work. Maybe forgo bonuses and apply the money towards insurance premiums.
