Pros
This company did well at the beginning making sure the RBTs were adequately trained and helped them get through the RBT Certification by answering questions and having trainings. Most of the people they hire were great with kids and overall awesome people. The data collection system was quality and easy to use. I learned a lot at the start but then had to teach myself a lot of things which helped me grow as a person and RBT.
Cons
When they opened their 2nd center, the 2 co-owners became distant and were rarely at the OP center. This caused a lot of miscommunication and lack of quality control. The center was rarely super clean because at one point they did not even have cleaners come on the weekends and the RBTs were responsible for cleaning at the end of the day during the week which was not enough especially during COVID. The owners rarely increased hourly wage and the workers were not treated like important assets to the company even though they were the ones working with the kids every day and doing the main therapy aspect. The retention rate of RBTs and BCBAs was not great. People would be hired on and then leave after a couple months. Kids were constantly getting new therapists that were not trained as well as they should have been. They would hire people with no experience working with kids and throw them into one on one sessions because they were so short staffed yet kept bringing in new clients to keep making money. Most of the toys were old, broken, and dirty. The company is in a state of chaos right now and is not giving their employees proper appreciation, training, and pay. The owners would rarely check over BCBAs programs and occasionally there would be programs in practice that were not ethical.
