Pros

- Great people to work with - Creative Director is very knowledgable and happy to teach - CEO and owner are the most lovely people - Varied projects and clients - Work from home, and also has a studio in West Melb - Once a month breakfast - Get to work with a wide array of freelancers - Some producers get MacBook work laptops

Cons

- Creativa (video production) is positioned under the Group 527 umbrella along with Ultimerse (gaming) and 7YM (development). The gaming and development seems to holdback the potential for growth for Creativa, as a lot of investment goes into the other two companies. - No General Manager, so the Head of Production has to attempt to do two huge roles. - CEO and owner don't have a background in video production or animation, so with no GM the company is a bit lost - Large workload means inevitable overtime, which is compensated with time lieu, which must be taken within a month. Taking the time in lieu just means you'll be even more behind when you return to work, so this either cascades and employees opt not to take it (so are effectively free labour) or they can't take it within the month because they are so busy, again free labour. No in-house studio to space to shoot simple PTC content -

Pros

- A company full of talented and kind people. - Lot's of diversity in projects. - I observed lots of compassion from HR. - An inclusive and diverse workplace.

Cons

- No room for career progression or salary reviews. - Reluctant to hire required resources leading to employees having to problem solve in a related area of their profession and upskill on borrowed time. - Having large workloads and an unspoken need for significant overtime. Overtime hours must be taken as time off in lieu and used within a month. This is often impossible when workloads are high. - Not replacing employees that have departed and splitting that role among people or adding an entire role onto another persons job.
