Pros

After more than two years in the Sales Department at Credibly, I recently made the difficult decision to move on. Writing this follow-up review feels bittersweet because my feelings about the company remain the same as when I posted my first review titled “Credibly is an incredible place to work.” The culture is supportive, flexible, and truly focused on employee well-being. Leadership continuously invests in new technology and innovation that make processes more efficient, products more competitive, and the sales team more empowered. The daily collaboration with such talented and motivated colleagues has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. My choice to leave was purely based on personal career goals, not because of any shortcomings at Credibly. While I look forward to the next chapter in my professional journey, I will always be grateful for the opportunities Credibly gave me to grow, learn, and succeed. I’ve gained invaluable knowledge, built lasting friendships, and developed skills that I’ll carry with me into the future. The support from leadership and colleagues alike has made all the difference. For anyone seeking a role in Financial Services, I highly recommend exploring Credibly—they are truly one of the top FinTech companies to build a career with.

Cons

I can’t think of any cons, especially considering all the perks, flexibility, and support Credibly provides its employees.

Pros

I have been a developer at Credibly for over a year, and overall, it is a very solid place to build a career in Fintech. It has a high-growth, "startup-y" feel, but with the stability of a profitable company. Pros: Modern Tech Stack: Engineering is currently in a technology revitalization phase, moving toward modern, relevant tech like Python APIs, React, and robust AWS services (DynamoDB). Great Culture & People: The engineering culture is collaborative and supportive. Coworkers are smart, motivated, and always willing to help. Leadership Accessibility: The leadership team is transparent and approachable, with weekly company-wide meetings where you can ask questions directly. Opportunities for Growth: There is room to learn and grow, especially if you are proactive about taking on new challenges.

Cons

Mandatory RTO Policy: The main downside is the recent, rigid return-to-office mandate requiring 3 days a week in the Southfield, MI office. There is little flexibility allowed for switching days, even if you are ill.

Pros

-Some career growth to a point -I like my coworkers -Although not perfect, my manager really seems like they care about our team and my career -Hybrid work from home. At least the RTO is not 5 days a week

Cons

-Low pay, even for management -Lack of career growth -Out of touch executives -Nothing is done regarding feedback -Sudden, forced, and inflexible RTO for no reason. 'Collaboration' was used by the executives to defend RTO, but a lot of people in office do not interact with one another. Nothing is being done in office that cannot be done at home. -Strong push of AI on employees and recent meetings reflect a goal to replace human underwriters with AI in the near future.
