Pros

The people on the front lines - chemists, project managers, proposal writers, etc. - make this place tolerable.

Cons

Current senior leadership (including the executive and site leadership teams) appears to lack the operational capability required to manage the organization effectively in the present market environment. Strategic emphasis has been placed on short-term EBITDA performance through significant workforce reductions, particularly among experienced technical staff, which creates the appearance of financial stability but undermines long-term operational viability. Market indicators suggest the organization is experiencing a cyclical slowdown, making current growth expectations unrealistic. Furthermore, existing staffing levels are insufficient to execute anticipated workloads should demand rebound, especially in key scientific and analytical functions. From a commercial perspective, it is increasingly difficult to responsibly commit to new programs when delivery timelines cannot be supported by current operational capacity. Premium pricing is being maintained despite the substantial erosion of bench-level expertise, which materially increases the risk of delayed execution and customer dissatisfaction.
