Pros

Things were good for the first few weeks/months when I was still ramping up. I think it's hard to be mean to fresh employees...

Cons

But with some management changes, just a couple months in, I found myself under immense pressure because - no one would have the bandwidth to answer my questions - which would lead to delays to reach deadlines - which would lead to me being yelled at - rinse & repeat As you can imagine, this led to major overworking — we're talking easily 12-15 hours a day, NOT getting paid IB salary (you can't work anyone that hard for less than 6-digits...). Some (not all!) members of management are SUPER toxic. Also, know that there are only downstream performance reviews (like your managers review you) but no institutionalized upwards performance reviews — so if you have an issue with someone higher up than you on your team there is actually no way to vocalize that unless you want to risk it all. Also, I started noticing how only the people who don't speak up and work for 25 hours a day are promoted and praised. Way to perpetuate a healthy work culture. Not even to mention things like, no budget for the team while you see the execs going to fancy restaurants in Midtown (NYC) for dinners, throwing parties, and catering lunches for their meetings (as we wait to see if there is any free food left to snag when they're done). No one would ask me how my day was, let alone a single conversation about my future career prospects — lol!

Pros

Curinos remains a workplace where you will work and grow as a professional with some of the best, most intelligent, and caring people ever. They are actively working to improve any issues brought to their attention in the workplace

Cons

Compensation lags behind the level of technical work that is done. Still average for the position nationally.
