Pros

Quarterly profit sharing. Smaller company, which meant you were able to get to learn a lot about each different area and were able to have more influence over things. Fairly flat organizational structure, so you're not far from the top. Good place to learn and start off your career at an entry level. The company is willing to innovate a bit and tries to be a leader in their industry.

Cons

Lower pay compared to other local manufacturing companies. Slow to give out raises. Smaller company, so not much room for advancement. New job openings are posted very infrequently - usually only if someone were to quit or retire. They were very selective about who/how they gave out tuition reimbursement. Somewhat disorganized - Unwilling to embrace a lean manufacturing approach and stick with it. Too much overtime for hourly workers and an uneven schedule that could fluctuate frequently throughout the year.
