Pros
The properties are beautiful. The clients are great. It's really sad that the management is so poor that it is ruining the company.
Cons
Emotionally abusive environment. A culture led by fear.. fear of getting berated in front of your coworkers, or fear of getting fired. The owners have ZERO respect for anyone besides themselves. The owner of the company attacks employees in front of their peers and calls them out. Causing them to turn against their coworkers. Unhealthy environment. New employees are promised the world and told how horrible past employees were. There are no real benefits besides health insurance. The owner promises new employees high commissions and equity in the company. The reality is that commissions are usually not paid as promised and they take several months to get paid (if they are). The commission plan changes constantly. Everything is very disorganized and there are no consistencies. It's impossible to meet/exceed expectations because they are constantly changing. Employees are over worked and constantly having to pick up extra work due to the revolving door of employees. There is no compensation or appreciation for picking up the slack. ZERO training. There is no gratitude/appreciation/acknowledgement for employees for working 60+ hours a week. The owners of the company expect you to be 'on call' 24/7. There is no respect for anyone's time except theirs. They are constantly late to meetings and it's not uncommon for a 2pm meeting on a Friday to be delayed until 6pm.. and then you are working until they feel like letting you leave. There is some unethical behavior that occurs that employees are convinced to be a part of.
