Pros

The founders are friendly and many of the staff outside of the sales organization

Cons

Sales is a mess, required people to be in office during a pandemic, lied about all inbound leads are warm, changed compensation plans after the fact (which is illegal) because of a few big opportunities, very "clicky", a lot of favoritism across the team, deceptive marketing tactics, mis messages within the team, undermining in the sales organization, micromanaging leadership, required end of day and morning check in as if we are children, deceptive, deceptive, deceptive. Favoritism is obvious and creates mistrust. There is no career path for those looking to advance their career. Lies to the team about accelerators in the comp plan but pushes them to go beyond their goal at the end of the month when there is no incentive to do so and you can just set up the next month.

Cybrary Response

There may be times when a few people aren’t the right fit for the standards we would expect them to uphold while supporting their teammates. This may result in requiring more attention from their managers to help them be successful, which could certainly feel like micromanaging. Our leadership team strives to support career development, and in the last year alone, 26% of our employees have been promoted. As we grow, we’re continually working to enhance our career development opportunities for our team. The Cybrary leadership team takes all feedback seriously and we will certainly listen to and consider feedback provided by everyone. We would encourage candidates interviewing to ask their interviewers any questions.
