Pros
The company did a good job a hiring diverse individuals.
Cons
Everything else. This company is the worst place I have ever worked in my life. They severely under pay their employers. They are constantly lying to the general contractors and vendors that they work with. Way over work their employers. When was there I never took lunch and always worked late (I was working about 60 hours a week and never was paid overtime or paid any bonuses that they mentioned several times). They also gave me a hard time when my great grandmother died from Covid and I missed two days to travel home and go to her funeral. I then had to miss my grandmother’s funeral who passed away a month later (also from Covid) because I was afraid I would be fired if I missed work again even though I had not used up all my days off allotted a year. Also the boss was very discriminatory against my age. Finally when I broke my foot while moving work material they promised me that they would pay for all my medical bills, but asked and later thanked me for not filing a work place injury. They then let me go a few weeks later because they were closing part of the company, and offered to write a letter of recommendation. However, then they tried to not pay me for my last 2 weeks of work. I reached out to make sure I got paid and that they would still pay for my foot but they said they were not going to pay for my foot anymore, and that they would no longer give me a letter of recommendation.
This company is full of selfish and inconsiderate ownership group. Please do not work here. It does not turn out well for most people. During the time I was there (not including the closing of part of the company) there was a 35% turnover.
