Pros
People were nice and helpful. Unlimited PTO (I guess but I never got to using it for the reason below)
Cons
This is long overdue but I was part of a layoff in late 2022 after only being hired a few months prior. They laid off about half the company and I was in the unfortunate half. By the way, I had just signed a lease for a new apartment in a new city one week prior to the layoff. They went on a hiring spree, recruiting a ton of people, only to lay them off a few months later. I personally had turned down another job for DAS, which I would soon regret. Why hire so many people, when you know you are not making enough sales? And why only pay one week's of salary as a severance pay when you gave zero day notice for laying off. And speaking of the pay, be ready to make way less than average for the same work you'd be doing. They give you the title "Associate Analyst", instead of "Data Engineer" or "Data Analyst" (which are more appropriate job titles for the work you'd be doing) probably because then they can justify paying you less by creating a new category for you. If you're looking for job stability or a decent wage, don't go there. They really have no idea how to retain talented people at the company.
