Pros

*Competitive wages against market starting at $15 an hour up to around $18 for basic entry level work. *Plenty of overtime available if approved. *Encouraged to learn other jobs within work area during down time. (Great if you're new in the industry; an excuse for free labor if familiar.) *Autonomy to work the process with minimal interference with management. Do your job, and that's it. *Compressed shifts (4 days, 3 days alternating, or 14 days a month). Nice for whole days off to pursue other activities. *Paid for a pair of safety steel-toed shoes/boots. *Safety is supported compared to other jobs (the military for instance). 35lb limit on manual labor seemed silly but contributes to a healthier work-life. *People were easy to get along with and supported each other -- after all, it's what you make of it. *Cheap benefits.

Cons

*Hiring process is smooth, but took a month from first contact to employment. Took pee test twice. (Was personally difficult being homeless...) *Lost contract with customer which divided work force and left everyone completely stranded in limbo until future employer takes over. *Always short on staff with high turnover, making coverage of other's responsibilities stressful and learning arduous with few experts. *Non-stop work added a lot of physical burdens on your body. Driving equipment all day took its toll, but the process keeps going and demand from customers has minor downtime. *Limited recognition of superlative performance, training of others, or process improvements. *No growth outlook. You're either entry level, seasoned entry level, or management. Professional development is sub-par if not non-existing. *No training process, and outdated procedures question overall authenticity of ones work. *Time clock was stressed overly critical but wasted your personal time to meet timelines. *Job description didn't match at all. Didn't learn about the clean-room until indoctrination, and other job details until pre-interview call. *No additional pay for steeper qualification requirements compared to other roles with same pay and less work.

Pros

somewhat decent hourly pay for people in lower leadership and not close enough to be decent but manageble hourly pay for associates. Overtime if you like that

Cons

- never see you families/partners again - company over camaraderie -mental and physical health are not prioritised and not important over the customer/client contract -Management treats you like a number instead of a human being - not allowed to speak out against inhumane conditions or mistreatment - corporate HR has been compromised and doesnt care about your well being - Exempt employees (salary paid) are REQUIRED to work overtime without any compensation. (working 30+ hours outside of regular 40 hours) -Administrative office personnel and in-house HR (P&O) treat warehouse employees like lower class uneducated subhumans or worse than dirt. - Consequences if you report Administrative personnel, management, or leadership for sexual harassment or assault
