Pros
I spent seven years working at DBD Media, during more than half this time I oversaw the Paid Search marketing team. DBD Media gave me a great grounding in my first real foray into Digital Marketing that has now seen me work in this field for more than 12 years. The thing that I am most proud of while working at DBD Media was our central ethos of wanting to deliver the best results for our clients we could - but only only this, when results were not going well, we were not afraid of being upfront with our clients, we did not shy away from having frank conversations about why things were not going well. On the whole, our clients welcomed our honesty, most of our clients considered us as their partners, not just their digital agency whom they 'outsourced' work to.
Putting clients aside, the many team members I worked with at DBD Media were awesome. There was a real collaborative feel at DBD Media, and there was a focus on learning from each other - I am still in close contact with most of my former colleagues from DBD Media that I spent a fair amount of time working with.
Cons
The only thing that I can say about my time at DBD Media that I wish was different from a personal perspective was I wish we were given more opportunities to work on larger scale campaigns where we could have had the opportunity to really show how good we were at what we did - that is, delivering results that made a measurable difference to our clients.
