Merit based pay increases, bonuses when the company is doing well, diverse work culture, and interesting products/projects to work on.
Cons
Steep learning curve for some jobs/positions, hardly working and archaic technology still actively being used in some departments (this is improving though), a slight disconnect between upper management and working level on what and how things are done.
