Pros
- Work-Life balance accommodation are almost always granted (depending on your manager) - You are encouraged to explore options to make your job easier and better - You get some Perks for being an employee
Cons
- Strict enforcement of core hours (you get reported if you are 1 second late and have not notified at least 2 hours before that you would be late) - Though work from home is possible and you are allow to do it for personal reasons, it is frowned upon. - Business is not transparent in its roadmap decision which tends to lead to last minute rush jobs to deliver by due dates that were known months in advance but was not communicated till weeks before due. - There are communication problems between business and IT which tends to cause problems due to items being overlooked and not addressed till IT calls them out which need to be address without changing due dates. - Business cares more about delivery than quality which tends to cause a lot of problems once the code goes live. - You are required to have many hats due to quiet hiring mentality - Benefits are subpar
