Pros

Nice people in lower levels of the company. Fun office environment at Littleton.

Cons

Paid a salary, but laid off/promoted solely based on hours in the building (no, a walk or lunch on the patio is not considered in the building). This leads to some very bad management since people are only promoted based on hours in building, not performance. Also this promotes slowing down - no point in getting your work done efficiently when you have to be in the office all day anyway. Another con is benefits - there are none! Insurance sucks and is very very expensive. 401k does not get matched (okay, they give a very small capped max but it is vested so if you stay less than 5 years at the company you'll get almost nothing). Annual pay bumps? Haven't seen anything yet. Allowed to work remote? Never, unless you have a good manager, but all days off-site are tracked and used for layoffs. The rules keep getting stricter regarding remote work, preventing good managers from being flexible at all. Also, there are no perks of going to office, even though it's required - feels like jail, no amenities, no free snacks or drinks or other perks like that, hardly any meeting rooms so all meetings are virtual anyway, no gym, nothing at all really to make you want to be there.

Pros

Work from home is the only pro I can think of

Cons

They don’t provide any equipment aside from the computer itself. They mislead you during the interview and job description. You are paid according to price of product sold and close rate however it’s all inbound calls and you can not call back. The inbound calls are lousy, people who don’t even have a $1 on a card in order to do the eligibility check, or no card at all.. poor credit which leads to higher out of pocket costs. I think only a handful of times I couldn’t overcome the spousal objection or the just shopping objection. Those I will take responsibility for but if I’m getting calls from people who don’t have a card or don’t have a $ or don’t have the money to put down OR already have an account or is a mis-transfer or were passed along because the technicians have to make referrals even though the customer isn’t actually interested in the product yet the tech makes them still call.. that’s crap and it’s not real sales.
