Pros
FOR A NEWER PROVIDER, YOU LEARN FAST BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO flexible schedule- create your own based on agreed upon contract days
Cons
completely overwork grossly underpaid only provider to see sometimes >100 patients a day ( mostly due to covid testing we do on site), with recent average about 80 patients a day, sometimes up to 20-30 urgent care with the rest being covid patients Have to chart on every. single person that comes into the clinic Have to physically see every patient that walks in the door potentially long wait times due to amount of patients we see on a daily basis Weren't provided appropriate personal protective equipment in the beginning of covid, left many staff and providers getting ill from covid, now have equipment available. support is minimal so make friends with other providers to help with complex cases long hours, no 8 hour shifts. always 12s and with the amount of charting usually 13-14 hours/day
