Pros
Since I started at DPOrganizer the company has grown a lot, both in terms of revenue and number of employees. To see all new people joining and making themselves feel like home is so wonderful to see, and I'm amazed how management have been able to recruit so many good talents. Almost every day I learn something new about a colleague that impress me, it could be that he/she is very knowledgeable in a specific area or that he/she handles a situation in a very impressive manner. Apart from the fantastic team, we have a great product that is becoming better and better for every day. We change priorities a lot, from sprint to sprint, and all is to ensure that we are making the most important changes & additions first. We do this, but still we ensure to respond to specific customer requests in one way or the other – happy customers is really something everyone in the company is focusing on. Right now I can't see myself working anywhere else in a long foreseeable future. I will be a part to take DPOrganizer to the top – it's as simple as that. 💪
Cons
Working at a startup is not for everyone, since it demands of you to take a lot of responsibility and comes with a lot of pressure to deliver business value quick. And it doesn't mean working overtime every day, definitely not, but you always need to be on your toes. You are partly responsible for the company's survival.
