Cons
1) Management is poor. Departments generally refuse to do what they need to do because -"Its too difficult, I don't want to do it". 2) Refusal by employees to use latest tech as its "too difficult" for them, when all they have to do is "point-click". 3) Departments like to gatekeep things like processes, data etc, making things difficult. 4) Salary for in-demand IT jobs for a FTSE100 company is abysmal at best. 5) No career opportunities, you are pretty much stuck in the position you are in. However you will be expected to do more work as you gain more experience without any pay compensation.
