Decent enough compensation compared to industry, good benefits package (dental and medical) Good to get initial experience in the industry, lots of opportunity to try new things. Very flexible with hours worked as long as work gets done.

Very dysfunctional company. Feels like the senior management is pulling in multiple directions rather than all together towards a common goal. Very high turnover rate (when compared to the industry), very high employee dissatisfaction in multiple categories when internal, third party surveys performed... Little done to address concerns raised over the past 5 years. Company's main goal is to provide growth to shareholders, while providing the bare minimum to the rank and file employee. Very toxic and poor company culture. Lots of internal competition for talent. Upward mobility is almost impossible without a P. Eng.

Started out with a great office environment, everyone was friendly and helpful. It was super busy and jobs were always interesting. Opportunities were open to everyone but upper management usually had someone in mind. In the end, there just wasn't enough support to grow. Every man for himself. Benefits are great, yearly reviews are brutal. They say there's negotiations for raises and bonuses, that's a lie. It's all predetermined and approved by upper management. When it's busy, OT is always available. Network hard, work hard but don't stay. HR was nice and responsive, if you knew who to email. IT team is small so they're slow but they're nice and try their best. Never had an issue they couldn't solve.

Underpaid in general. Upper management was tough on every mistake in the last year. Office moral was low due to high turnover in the office.
