Pros

I joined the business on an initial contract basis and happily took the opportunity for a permanent role. - Great growth potential within the business - Start-up mentality ("all hands on deck") where your opinions are appreciated and ideas are shared and developed as a team - Real opportunity to learn, take ownership and genuinely help in the business's success - The company's recent change in direction and proposition/service gives you a blank slate to work from, no preconceptions or legacy issues - Friendly and warm team and working environment

Cons

Owner has been open and honest about historic issues within the business and certain members of previous team. My experience does not reflect the highly negative comments in some of other views from employees in previous years ( pre-2017/18). - As a small business there aren't as many package benefits as you get with larger business - Start-up mode means you have to work hard to establish yourself with new Customers, there is no ready-made prospect list to attack

Pros

A very functional office in Stockport with the train station close by for an easy commute and nice food places nearby as well as very friendly shared office building neighbours

Cons

I didn't do my research deeply enough here prior to agreeing to joining DVV Solutions. If I had found the previous employees via LinkedIn then I would have saved myself from the toxic management and manipulative lies dressed as a happy family environment. The management has truly done some atrocious things to their previous employees with bullying tactics and undermining. I found myself victim of this too which made working there unbearable. There is no proper strategy to align in giving customer value but for the company to find a market wave that is then aligned with to then extract as much from customer and vendor partnerships as possible both in terms of money and resource. Sadly these practices are reflective of the high attrition rates of the customers and if you also spoke to the aligned vendors, you will also find their lack of desire to invest wholly as a partner.

Pros

Stockport is such an easy commute! The offices are not too far away from the motorway and there is very little traffic going towards that direction

Cons

Where do I start? I should have come here before accepting my role at DVV Solutions and I should have messaged the handful of former employees that can easily be found on LinkedIn. The positive reviews are from company directors masquerading as employees. It's true the management are extremely controlling and have this toxic environment where they will treat employees as if they are owned by them. I subsequently messaged some of the former employees to find out that I was one of the lucky ones who wasn't treated as badly but there was a common theme where management continued to hide the truth with lies and not taking accountability for previous attitudes and horrible treatment. The sad truth is the leadership have jumped from a "shiney" new technology as bandwagon from one to the next, got lucky with a very small handful but there is no real strategy apart from extract as much money aligning to a vendor whilst providing zero value to both vendor and customer. Customers do not benefit at all which is the sad truth whilst employees suffer from the desperation from leadership to grasp onto any resource that can be forced into unethical behaviour. Both customers and potentially new employees need to speak to previous employees before getting into any kind of dialogue with this organisation.
