Pros
Large collaborative dev team with lots of people to learn from, and a constant itch to push boundaries when it comes to what is possible with websites. The rate this team has grown in the last year is extremely impressive, and the caliber of talent is pretty unmatched compared to most employers I've been with in the past.
The dev team is a perfect blend of "new" developers, seasoned veterans, and people who are right in the middle refining their goals. This means that there is always growing and learning to be done, but at the same time, you will never find yourself peaking out in your career here.
Leadership, especially in this department, really values new ideas and new dev practices. Right now for example, the team as a whole is making a push to learn AngularJS, which is really exciting. Double exciting since we'll get to use it in more projects down the line.
While turnover seems like it may be an issue in other departments, i havn't seen us lose anyone on the dev team in all my time here.
Benefits wise, they really have it all. 401k, good pto, health, dental, etc. Work from home fridays too, which is great for developer types!
Cons
No real cons. Like I said, turnover seems like it may be an issue on some other teams, but from what I've seen this is just because of our rapid growth.
There is the occasional project that gets dragged across longer timelines than developers like, but these issues are generally solved quickly.
